Body of bridge jumper recovered from Hudson River

BEACON – The body of a person who jumped off the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Tuesday morning was recovered from the Hudson River by first responders, according to State Police. The victim jumped off the eastbound span near the Beacon shoreline just after 7 a.m. Police did not say if the victim was a man or woman.
